About

It started with my own wedding

I designed and built the copper chuppah for my own wedding. We wanted something timeless, personal, and architectural, and it became a beautiful centerpiece to the ceremony.

Seven weddings later, I rent it out to other couples who want something meaningful and a little different. A second, wooden chuppah is in the workshop now, built by hand for a couple who requested it, and it will join the rental collection once it's finished.

I personally deliver, assemble, and take down the chuppah at your event. No stress on your big day.

Flat rental fee for the copper chuppah. Includes delivery, setup, and takedown within 30 miles of Durham.

Travel beyond 30 miles is available at $1.00 per additional mile (round trip).

Holiday or late-night events may incur a small surcharge. Contact me for availability.

Fully insured with $1M / $2M general liability coverage. Certificates of insurance are available for venues upon request.

How It Works

From first email to takedown

  1. Contact me with your wedding date and venue to confirm availability.
  2. Review and sign the rental contract and pay the initial deposit or the entire rental fee.
  3. We communicate dates, times, and details on where and how the chuppah should be set up at your venue.
  4. I deliver and assemble the chuppah before the ceremony.
  5. After the ceremony, I return to remove it.

What areas do you serve for chuppah rentals?

The greater Durham, Raleigh, and Chapel Hill areas. Delivery, setup, and takedown are included within 30 miles of Durham, NC (27704). Venues farther away are available at $1.00 per additional mile, round trip.

How much does it cost to rent a chuppah?

The copper chuppah is a flat $325, which includes delivery, on-site assembly, and takedown within 30 miles of Durham. Holiday or late-night events may incur a small surcharge.

How big is the chuppah?

The copper chuppah has a 5' × 5' footprint and stands 8' tall. A custom footprint is available if your ceremony space needs a different size.

Can the chuppah be used indoors and outdoors?

Yes. Indoors and on hard surfaces it stands on steel base plates. Outdoors on grass it can be secured with rebar ground anchors.

Are flowers or a canopy included?

The rental is for the chuppah frame. Flowers, greenery, and fabric are provided by you or your florist, and the frame is designed to be florist-friendly. Many couples drape a family tallit or a cloth of their own across the top.

Do you set up and take down the chuppah?

Yes. I personally deliver and assemble the chuppah before your ceremony and return to remove it afterward. The rental covers a 24-hour period to allow time for both.

Can you provide a certificate of insurance for my venue?

Yes. Triangle Chuppah Rentals is fully insured with $1M / $2M general liability coverage, and certificates of insurance are available for venues upon request.

Yes. It works as a chuppah for Jewish weddings and as a wedding arch for any ceremony, vow renewal, or event.

How do I book?

Email me with your wedding date and venue to confirm availability. You then review and sign the rental contract and pay the initial deposit or the full rental fee, and we work out setup details for your venue.
